Even after the war ended, the feud between the Wrights and Glenn Curtiss grew as they were both embroiled in an aviation patent dispute. Eventually, the Wright brothers won the case in the United States. When Glenn Curtiss retired from aviation in 1920, he relocated to Florida with his daughter and wife. While in Florida, he began working on the ‘Bungalo’ design with his half-brother G. Carl Adams, for his brother’s company, The Adams Trailer Corporation.
